Low Carb Diets - An Unhealthy Gimmick

I know my big eyes must roll into the back of my head at least three-way per supermarket visit nowadays. It seems almost all types of food comes in an "low carb" variety. This is also a example of how corporations enjoy innocent people looking in the course of hope. For those of you that is definitely not aware of this generally, it's time to detoxify something up here- low carb diets don't work. Plain and simple.

Cutting back or restricting fruit and vegetables from our diets would not be wise either. If anything, we generally don't have enough in our diets. Fruit and vegetables contain vitamins, minerals, antioxidant properties, and "phytochemicals" which help to prevent disease. Believe it or not these valuable phytochemicals also appear in in healthful carbohydrates such as brown rice, oatmeal, wheat, and other high gauze sources. The focus should be on what kind of carbs to cut half on. Carbs as I just these are considered "complex carbohydrates" and we actually are to be eating more of it really! I can see decreasing carbs such as dinner, white bread, and carbohydrate food. Eliminating the greatest reasons for fiber and nutrients mother nature has to offer, however, just doesn't make sense.

So many of us are concered about losing weight, and goodness knows it is not easy. Yes, even I fight it- so i know the pain. For those of you going through this also, I beg of you- hold your health above all else. You can't win the actual battle of the bulge otherwise alive to fight the tv.
