The Good of Cholesterol

In the movie, Step-brother Vinny, Joe Pesci, looks on in horror since diner cook runs way of life block of lard across his grill from that point onwards starts frying eggs.

"Excuse i am, you guys down here listen to the ongoing cholesterol issue in the country? " asks Pesci, his eyes bugging out.

The on-going belief here is that eating high fats foods will cause heart disease. If that is the situation, then why are some vegetarians are afflicted by high cholesterol?

Cholesterol is created by the body to guard itself from free uplifting damage. Kind of in the same manner human rust. The more molecular invaders (eg. smoking, circulated carbohydrates, stress, pollution, etc .. ) the more cholesterol levels produced!

This does not mean that the person is gluttony bad cholesterol, but rather themselves is under attack from most free radicals. It is going to be when your immune product is low and you inquiry infections. Your body is putting out swelling, discharges, etc. to protect against the invaders.

By the way, HDL (High Density Lipoprotein) is good cholesterol which will actually flush out your arteries. LDL (Low Density Lipoprotein) and all VLDL (Very Low Density Lipoprotein) is also the bad cholesterols that will form clots locally blood stream. Egg yolks are loaded with HDL. I eat a number of different eggs and have a constant low LDL readings.

A a handful of more points. The Inuit and Eskimos eat high - fat, meat and fish diets and have low heart disease. All African Masai tribal policy holders eat mostly meat, a wide selection of milk and blood handy folks fruits. They also have low heart conditions. That is until lots of people are crammed into crowded residential home and fed processed carbs and glucose.

So, think exercise, low stress and knocking out junk in the diet (eg. processed carbohydrates, carb supply, pop, etc. ) and making sure the diet contains adequate enough liver-supportive substances like: lecithin (lots in egg yolks), choline, inositol, biotin and better vitamins B12 and B15. You have protective minerals often on eggs, nuts, fish therefore meat. Namely, magnesium, selenium, manganese, zinc, potassium and chromium.
