If people can be good or bad, so does cholesterol. Cholesterol is central to the substance produced by the liver or food that we indulge in. It is a chemical compound that helps keep our body properly. But since this wax-like substance cannot dissolve with only a blood, too much or not enough cholesterol may lead to heart problems, artery diseases and / or stroke.

There are two types of Cholesterol-the Low-Density Lipoprotein (LDL) a High-Density Lipoprotein (HDL). LDL is understood as the "bad" cholesterols. Too much LDL with only a blood stream can form to some hard deposit that narrows the walls of the arteries. This plaque results from an increased risk of cardiovascular disease.
