The United States FOOD (Food and Drug Administration) approved the health benefit claims of oatmeal back in 1997. In 2008 Dr. James W. Anderson, professor of medication and clinical nutrition just University of Kentucky College of medicine, published an analytical report to find any time any new information that is going to go against the health benefit claims approved by US FDA a decade back.
